Soul -
It sweeps the
tenement - or tenements away
But leaves the
Water whole -
In which the
soul at first
+ estranged - + alarmed
Seeks + faintly + softly gropes for
its' shore -
But acclima-
ted - pines no more
For its' that Peninsula - Loses sight of aught aught Peninsular -
+submerged -
+ Seeks furtive
for its' shore
